OUR HISTORY

Our specialty ... helicopter charter in the areas surrounding Sept-Iles and Baie-Comeau in Québec, Canada, Héli-Excel Inc. has now acquired several thousand hours of flight experience in transportation by helicopter. The business made it's debut in early 1989 by purchasing it's first helicopter an ASTAR 350 B made by Eurocopter.

Every day for the last 13 years, the bright new helicopters of Héli-Excel Inc have been flying the skies of Sept-Iles and surrounding areas. With a fleet of eleven beauties and a dynamic team of thirty men which are the envy of many operators, It seems that these "choppers" will be flying through the blue skies of the lower north shore for quite some time yet.

Torngat Mountains and Inuit Land

Torngat Mountains and the Inuit Land, a destination best suited to quench your desires for exploration and to reach the wild and very secret landscapes. An experience (experiment) and a unique adventure to the Great Québec North.

Be tempted by the adventures of six days in the Torngat Mountains offered during the weeks between June and September.

In the Québec's north, come discover in Ungava territory of the Nunavik, the largest caribous herds in the world. Also observe the tundra and the buffalo herds. Come and fish the trouts, salmons and the artic char in this world-famous territory. Discover the Rockies of the East out of which rises the highest summit of Québec, the Iberville mountain.
Come and discover beaches, fjord, hanging valleys and spectacular landscapes. Glance at fjords more than 30 kilometers in length, steep cliffs more than 900 meters , lakes and rivers spilling from the cliffs.

Experience the wilderness campsite on top mount Nachvak, in Labrador, where you will have the distinct impression of being on top of the world. Meet the Inuits of Kangiqsualujjuaq and the Naskapis Indians. Visit Fort- Mackenzie, an ancient outpost of Hudson's Bay company. Observe current and tides phenomenon of more than 15 to 20 meters. Flying through spectacular Eaton Canyon down that narrow path over more than three kilometers will take you breath away!
